This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible across across
portions of eastern and southern PR tonight. Plan to stop all
outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Wind...Windy conditions. Outdoor items could blow around or be
damaged.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 10 feet across
the southern waters of the islands. Dangerous conditions for
small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly across all east and south-facing beaches of
the islands.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Hurricane Beryl will move across the Caribbean Sea and pass just
south of the area on Tuesday. This will increase the flood threat
across the islands, promote breezy to locally stronger winds, and
bring hazardous seas and life-threatening rip currents across
most east and south facing beaches of the islands.

Another tropical wave with potential to develop into a tropical
system could follow a similar track of Beryl by Thursday,
maintaining hazardous seas and life-threatening rip currents, as
well as bringing squally weather across the area. Flooding rains
are possible with this system.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
