beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A stationary front will weaken
over the S waters today. High pressure centered just E of the
Virginia Capes will continue shifting E of the area today through
Sat while maintaining a ridge across the S waters. Another strong
cold front will move SE across the area Sat, and stall over the
central waters Sat night. The front will then lift N as a warm
front Sun into Sun night, before yet another strong cold front
moves over the area Sun night through Mon night. A series of
secondary cold fronts will cross the N portion Tue and Tue night
as another high builds E across the S portion.
