This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight, with
the greatest concentration near and north of I-74. While severe
weather is not expected, some of the storms will produce heavy
rain, which may lead to localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

The threat of storms will continue through Monday night in central
Illinois, and into Tuesday in eastern Illinois. Severe weather is not
likely during this period, though atmospheric conditions may support
a few funnel clouds on Monday. Areas of heavy rain will continue to
produce a risk of localized flooding.

Hot weather will peak on Tuesday and Wednesday. Heat index values
over 100 degrees are likely on Tuesday west of I-55, and over all of
the area on Wednesday.

Accompanying a cold front on Thursday, there is a risk of severe
thunderstorms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
