A gradual increase in the marine layer into the beginning of next week will result in good to excellent overnight recovery. Gusty onshore flow will develop this afternoon and persist through the evening hours with 25-35 mph near the coast, and isolated gusts up to 45 mph at higher elevations through gaps and passes and at the ridge lines.
