...Discussion from Monterey...

Cooler temperatures with dry conditions through the remainder of the
weekend. A gradual increase in the marine layer into the beginning
of next week will result in good to excellent overnight recovery.
The cooler temperatures will continue into the beginning of next
week with daytime Min-RH values generally above 25% area-wide. Gusty
onshore flow will develop this afternoon and persist through the
evening hours with 25-35 mph near the coast, and isolated gusts up
to 45 mph at higher elevations through gaps and passes and at the
ridge lines. There`s a chance for light rain late Monday into early
Tuesday, with the North Bay and Bay Area favored for the best
chance of measurable precipitation not expected to exceed 0.10".

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...SEASONABLE ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH MONDAY ACROSS
THE INTERIOR, WITH LOCALLY BRIEF CRITICAL CONDITIONS OVER THE
EASTERN SAN GABRIELS AND ANTELOPE VALLEY INCLUDING ADJACENT
FOOTHILLS...

Southwest to northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 25 to
40 mph will be common over the interior areas through Tuesday, as
well as southern Santa Barbara County. These winds are slightly
stronger than usual. Meanwhile, minimum humidities of 10 to
20 percent will be common over the interior through Monday, with
pockets of 5 to 10 percent readings over the eastern San Gabriel
mountains and Antelope Valley. This will lead to seasonable
elevated conditions through Monday, with locally brief critical
conditions over the driest and windiest portions of the eastern San
Gabriels and Antelope Valley including adjacent foothills. On the
coastal side of the ranges, a deep marine layer will persist with
patchy light drizzle at times. Significant warming likely to follow
Wednesday through the end of next week, with some generally weak
easterly flow.
