...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CARBON AND CENTRAL
ALBANY COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM MST...

At 521 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Elk Mountain, or 41 miles east of Rawlins, moving east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could lead to hazardous travel, especially for
         high profile vehicles. Hail will accumulate on area roads,
         resulting in slick conditions and hazardous travel.

Locations impacted include...
Medicine Bow, Rock River, Elk Mountain, McFadden, and Arlington.

This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 252 and
285.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travelers are urged to use caution while traveling across central
Carbon County.
