Radar shows an area of freezing drizzle and mist tracking into portions of western New England. Since temperatures in this area remain near or below freezing, especially in the higher elevations, a light glaze of ice could result in slippery travel conditions this evening and early tonight. Motorists and pedestrians should remain aware of the possibility for icy surfaces through this evening and tonight. Elevated roads such as bridges and overpasses, and highway on and off ramps will be particularly vulnerable to icing, as well as parking lots and other untreated walkways. $$
