...SNOWFALL REPORTS...

A late-season winter storm impacted central and southern Wyoming the
night of May 17th through the day of May 18th. The heaviest snow
fell between about 2am and 10am MDT. The largest totals were for
upslope favored locations like the Lander Foothills, southern Casper
and Casper Mountain, as well for locations between South Pass and
Jeffrey City and south into eastern Sweetwater County, especially
for Interstate 80 east of Rock Springs. Totals of 8 inches or more
were seen in the mentioned locations, with around a foot of snow
over South Pass and around 20 inches on Casper Mountain. Reports for
Sinks Canyon Park near Lander were near 12 inches, with around 19
inches at the top of the switchbacks. Listed below are snowfall
