.DISCUSSION...
Monday morning will begin with cool, dry, and sunny conditions. Winds
will be breezy to gusty as the storm front moves through the area, with
southerly gusts up to 21 mph through the afternoon and decreasing throughout
the evening. Chances for rain will increase throughout the day, with light
showers expected to start around mid morning, and more moderate rainfall
to begin Monday evening. Heaviest rainfall will occur between Monday evening
and Tuesday evening. Non-zero chance (5% or less) for isolated thunderstorms
Monday evening, with much higher chances (20 to 30%) on Tuesday afternoon
and evening. While winds will be lighter on Tuesday, any thunderstorms that
occur will bring gusty and erratic winds, along with lightning, brief and
heavy rainfall, and potential for hail. Lingering chances for precipitation
on Wednesday, with drier weather on Thursday expected. Primarily light and
terrain driven winds expected from Wednesday onward.
