.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal thunderstorms in the mountains today may bring gusty
and erratic winds, frequent lightning, and brief, heavy rainfall.
A few storms may migrate into the deserts. Humidity will be
excellent through Thursday before a pattern change brings a slow
drying trend Friday into the weekend. Storm chances dwindle from
Wednesday onward as cooler temperatures move in, with highs 3-10
degrees below normal. Breezy conditions expected each afternoon
from Wednesday onward in the deserts, along desert slopes and
through mountain passes. The strongest winds will be on Wednesday
and Thursday.
