.DISCUSSION...
Scattered rain showers along and south of I-80 are expect to
persist in Illinois through sunrise as a low- level cloud deck
exits the area from west to east. Another band of rain showers
could develop south of Highway 34 by daybreak with a few rumbles
of thunder possible through the early afternoon. Otherwise, a
mostly dry Friday with westerly flow at the surface helping highs
reach the low 70s.
