Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1205 PM EST Thu Nov 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather continues into the weekend. Winds ahead of an
approaching system are expected to become southerly on Friday,
which brings an increase in moisture to the district. Afternoon RH
values on Friday are forecast to be in the 50-60% range. As the
system nears the area Saturday, a few showers and possible a
thunderstorm are possible, with a better chance for activity on
Sunday. Much colder and drier air returns to begin the week, with
potential for a hard freeze early Tuesday morning.

Fog potential: Early morning fog possible near river valleys
