Today is a transition day, as a weather system begins moving into the region from the west. Generally light winds can be expected for most areas, though breezy southeast winds will be found over MT133 this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from the 60s in the west to the 70s east, with RH from the teens to 30s percent, lowest east. Shower chances increase for western areas this afternoon, spreading east this evening and night as a cold front moves through the region. Breezy northwest winds of 25 to 40 mph will accompany the front. Periods of showers and weak thunderstorms will move over the districts at times Sunday into Tuesday. Cooler temperatures can be expected, with the potential for several inches of accumulating snow in the high country, and some light accumulations into the foothills. Much uncertainty remains with precipitation amounts, though there are moderate to good chances for wetting rains, highest for western areas.
