.DISCUSSION...
A few showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two are possible
later this afternoon into tonight. The greater risk for severe
storms will be Thursday. Highs will also climb into the 90s and
heat indices may reach the lower 100s. Dewpoints in the 70s will
support humid conditions.
Minimum afternoon relative humidity values Thursday afternoon
will be in the 45 to 70 percent range.
.OUTLOOK...Friday through Monday...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible especially during the
afternoon/evening hours Friday before drier air comes in for the
weekend. Some storms could turn severe, particularly out in
western MA and CT.
Summerlike warmth will continue this weekend, but with some
relief in the humidity. The weekend currently looks to feature
mainly dry weather. Unsettled weather may return Sunday night
into Monday.
