.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...A few showers or thunderstorms
are possible across the Front Range and I-25 corridor this
afternoon and evening. Gusty winds will be possible with any
shower or storm, with low (<20%) chances of wetting rainfall.
Relative humidity is expected to fall to about 15-25% across the
high country and urban corridor, with slightly higher RH likely
across the plains.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...An extended
period of hot and dry conditions is likely this weekend into early
next week. Elevated or near-critical fire weather conditions are
possible at times this weekend and early next week across the
higher elevations, where easterly flow could bring gusty downslope
winds west of the Continental Divide. Locally critical fire
weather conditions may also develop across South Park and across
the Front Range and I-25 corridor on Monday and Tuesday.
