...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 4 and 10 inches and ice accumulations of
  0.10 to 0.20 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Lower Yukon River, Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys, North
  Slopes of the Western Alaska Range, Upper Kuskokwim Valley, and
  Yukon Delta Coast.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Surfaces will likely become slick and hazardous.
  Significant ice accumulation may cause power outages. Plan on very
  difficult traveling conditions.

Additional Details...This event will occur as two waves of
precipitation. The first occurs Sunday through Monday and is lighter
with snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of
less than 0.10 expected. The second occurs Monday night through
Wednesday morning and is heavier with snow accumulations of 3 to 7
inches and ice accumulations of 0.10 to 0.15 inches expected.
Temperatures cool rapidly Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Visibility as low as
  one-quarter mile is possible with the strongest wind and heaviest
  snow showers.
