.DISCUSSION...
Mostly scattered showers for today with lower chances of wetting
rain. No thunderstorms are expected. High temperatures will
generally be in the 50s with a min RH in the upper 50% and 60%
range. Winds will generally be westerly close to the coast and
southwesterly more inland around 7 to 10 mph.
It is however the calm before the storm as a coastal storm
approachs the West Coast bringing high surf to the coast, strong
southerly winds, and significant rainfall with 1 to 2 inches
expected for much of the West Coast and Western Interior Monday
and Tuesday. Wednesday the storm center begins to move into the
Western Interior and weaken. This will shift winds more
northwesterly and cause rain amounts to diminish.
