...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL BE IN THE SINGLE-DIGITS AREAWIDE
TODAY. THE EXCEPTION WILL BE THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF PORTIONS OF
THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN, WHERE AFTERNOON RH WILL DROP INTO THE
TEENS. HUMIDITIES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF
THE WORK WEEK WITH A SUBSTANTIAL MOISTURE INCREASE SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY. MEANWHILE, EXPECT BREEZY NORTHERLY WINDS EACH AFTERNOON
BETWEEN 15 AND 25 MPH, WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH ALONG THE LOWER
COLORADO RIVER VALLEY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

AREAS OF SANTA ANA WINDS WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY FRIDAY. THE
STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY WITH
NORTHEAST WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 TO 70 MPH AND WITH
ISOLATED GUSTS TO 75 TO 85 MPH FOR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS.
LOWEST DAYTIME HUMIDITY WILL FALL TO AROUND 5 PERCENT FOR TODAY AND
THURSDAY AND AROUND 5 TO 10 PERCENT ON FRIDAY WITH POOR OVERNIGHT
RECOVERY. A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTH IS EXPECTED TO
BRING A SUBSTANTIAL RECOVERY IN HUMIDITY DURING THE WEEKEND WITH
WIDESPREAD WETTING RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH AT
LEAST FRIDAY BEFORE A MORE UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN SETTLES INTO
THE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND, LASTING THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK.
EXPECT MINIMUM AFTERNOON HUMIDITY LEVELS IN THE 5-10% RANGE WITH
POOR OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES ONLY TO 15-25%. LIGHT WINDS INITIALLY
TODAY WILL BECOME BREEZY ACROSS THE LOWER CO RIVER VALLEY THIS
AFTERNOON AND THEN ADDITIONALLY OVER THE ARIZONA HIGHER TERRAIN
BEGINNING TONIGHT. OVERALL LIGHT WINDS ARE THEN EXPECTED ON FRIDAY.
