...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

LITTLE WIND WITH NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES TODAY ACROSS THE AREA.
CONDITIONS WILL TURN UNSETTLED FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS THE REGION
WILL BE UNDER AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. STRONG WINDS WITH GUSTS
EXCEEDING 40 MPH WILL OCCUR IN THE WESTERN MOJAVE DESERT OF
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FRIDAY. ALSO, ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL
FAVOR THE HIGHER TERRAIN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. ANOTHER SYSTEM CLIPS
THE AREA EARLY NEXT WEEK SETTING THE STAGE FOR PERSISTENT, GUSTY
NORTH WINDS DOWN THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

COOLING AND HIGHER HUMIDITY WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD INLAND TODAY AS
ONSHORE FLOW STRENGTHENS. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTHWEST
WILL BRING STRONGER AND GUSTY WEST WINDS FOR LATE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY
WITH THE STRONGER GUSTS FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS TO 35 TO
45 MPH. IT WILL BE MUCH COOLER FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WITH PERIODS
OF SHOWERS FROM LATE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY AFTERNOON WITH THE MOST
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS ON FRIDAY. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL LOWER TO 5000 TO
5500 FEET ON FRIDAY AND AROUND 4000 FEET FOR LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY. DRY AND WARMER ON SUNDAY WITH GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST
WINDS, WITH GUSTS MOSTLY 35 MPH OR LESS. SLIGHTLY COOLER FOR MONDAY
AND TUESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTHWEST BRINGS GUSTY
WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS. THEN DRIER AND WARMER FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY WITH PERIODS OF GUSTY EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

VERY DRY CONDITIONS REMAIN OVER THE REGION TODAY WITH A WEAK HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING TO THE EAST BEFORE A MOSTLY DRY PACIFIC LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM BEGINS TO AFFECT THE REGION STARTING FRIDAY. EXPECT
BREEZY TO LOCALLY WINDY CONDITIONS LATER ON FRIDAY ACROSS THE
WESTERN DISTRICTS ALONG WITH IMPROVED HUMIDITIES AND TEMPERATURES
FALLING TO BELOW NORMAL. MINRHS INTO THE WEEKEND WILL MOSTLY RANGE
BETWEEN 20-30% ACROSS THE LOWER DESERTS WITH LIGHTER WINDS
RETURNING TO THE AREA.
