.DISCUSSION...A weather system will move into the region today
bringing increased southwest winds, but continued dry conditions.
Strong downslope winds are expected in the lee of the Sierra and
western Owens Valley with other areas seeing wind gusts 30 to 40
mph. Breezy conditions will persist through the weekend along with
temperatures falling to near normal. Other than a few showers
across central Nevada, no precipitation is expected.
