.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will remain below normal, and winds
will remain light through Friday as an upper-level area of low
pressure passes across the region. A modest increase in moisture
levels will accompany this low, and a few showers will be possible
along and near the Sierra today and over the remainder of the area
Friday into Saturday. Drier and warmer conditions return over the
weekend as a ridge of high pressure builds over the western US.
