.DISCUSSION...Gusty southwesterly winds will continue across the
Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin through this evening with
calmer winds expected over the weekend and heading into next week.
Light precipitation will continue in the Eastern Sierra through
mid-morning, with dry weather across the entire region beginning
on Saturday and continuing through at least Monday. Temperatures
will continue to cool over the next few days with cooler than
normal temperatures returning to the region by mid-week.
