...High Flows Continue Along the Upper Sacramento River System...

.A series of atmospheric rivers brought moderate to heavy rainfall
in the Upper Sacramento River basin over the last several days.
Runoff continues to work its way through the waterways, resulting in
high flows. Some locations remain in flood, and many others are in
action/monitor stage. Additionally, Moulton, Colusa, and Tisdale
Weirs are all experiencing spill-over into their respective bypasses

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Bend Bridge 2/07 1:45 stage 19.1 ft
Forecast to recede to near 18.5 FT this evening then forecast to
rise above monitor stage of 22.0 FT tomorrow morning then forecast
to rise to near 23.0 FT early tomorrow afternoon then forecast to
recede to near 22.5 FT early Sunday morning.
 Monitor stage 22.0 ft, Flood stage 27.0

 Tehama Bridge 2/07 2:00 stage 211.5 ft
Forecast to recede to near 208.5 FT just after midnight tonight then
forecast to rise to near 210.5 FT tomorrow afternoon.
 Monitor stage 206.5 ft, Flood stage 209.5
Impact for Tehama Bridge...Near 206.7 feet, Water into rv park on
east side of river. Tires of trailers get wet.
Near 209.7 feet, Flood stage - Road inside trailer park and turn
around site under RR tracks (Tehama/Vina road) become impassible.
Water is into area around structures on east side of river. No
structural damage. Sheriff`s office issues advisory. Makes sure
Pelhams Bay, Snug Harbor, River Inn (small trailer parks all in a
row on east side of river north of bridge) know of advisory.")
Near 210.7 feet, Between 210 and 211 feet the county park becomes
inaccessible. At 211 feet water begins to enter Driftwood RV fishing
resort on east bank of river and just north of the county park.

Forecast to fluctuate near 183.0 FT into late this afternoon then
forecast to fall below monitor stage of 180.0 FT late tonight then
forecast to recede to near 179.5 FT tomorrow morning then forecast
to rise above monitor stage of 180.0 FT tomorrow afternoon then
forecast to rise to near 181.0 FT early Sunday morning then forecast
to recede to near 180.5 FT early Sunday afternoon.

 Hamilton City 2/07 1:45 stage 144.9 ft
Forecast to fluctuate near 145.0 FT into late this evening then
forecast to fall below monitor stage of 142.0 FT late tomorrow
morning then forecast to recede to near 142.0 FT early tomorrow
afternoon then forecast to rise above monitor stage of 142.0 FT
tomorrow afternoon then forecast to rise to near 143.0 FT early
Sunday morning.
 Monitor stage 142.0 ft, Flood stage 147.0
Impact for Hamilton City...Near 144.0 feet, County Road 23 in Glenn
County closes east of RD 2140 levee as a result of water on roadway.
Near 145.1 feet, Water inundates Phase 2A restoration area north of
Hwy 32 bridge inside of levee; touches toe of levee.
Near 137.7 feet, West Sacramento Avenue and River Road north of Big
Chico Creek flood 1.5 hours after the Hamilton City gage reaches
137.7-138.0 feet.

 Ord Ferry 2/07 1:45 stage 112.7 ft
Forecast to fluctuate near 113.5 FT into late this afternoon then
forecast to rise to near 114.5 FT just after midnight tonight then
forecast to recede to near 113.5 FT early Sunday morning.
 Monitor stage 110.0 ft, Flood stage 114.0
Impact for Ord Ferry...Near 113.8 feet, Design overflow level for
M&T, 3Bs and Goose Lake flood control facilities to divert flood
flows into Butte Basin. M&T overflows close River Road from Ord
Ferry Road to Chico Road. Ord Ferry Road is already closed.
Near 114.0 feet, Designated flood stage left bank.
Near 110.3 feet, Head cuts in 3Bs silt weir start overflow into
Butte Basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road west of River Road.
Persistent flows at or above this level increase flooding in Butte
Basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in Glenn and Colusa
counties are closed due to flooding.

Impact for Butte City...Near 89.9 feet, Overbank flow of the east
bank begins upstream of the gage. Water flows into Butte Basin.

Present overflow depth is about 2.4 FT then overflow to remain near
depth of 2.0 FT into early Sunday afternoon.
 Monitor stage 76.2 ft, Flood stage 83.8
Impact for Moulton Weir...Near 76.2 feet, Moulton Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into butte sink. River Road is flooded
and closed.

Impact for Colusa Weir...Near 60.9 feet, Colusa Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Sutter Bypass.

parking lot and outdoor patio of Colusa Landing RV Park along east
bank of river.
Near 65.0 feet, Water moves into the parking lot of Loves Landing
trailer park along east bank of river inside levee.
Near 63.0 feet, Monitor Stage.

 Tisdale Weir 2/07 2:15 stage 48.0 ft
Present overflow depth is about 3.8 FT then overflow depth at weir
decreasing to 3.7 FT late this afternoon then overflow to remain
near depth of 3.5 FT into Sunday afternoon.
 Monitor stage 44.1 ft, Flood stage 51.6
Impact for Tisdale Weir...Near 44.1 feet, Tisdale Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Tisdale Bypass. This water
eventually ends up in the Sutter Bypass.
