...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PENNINGTON COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM MDT...
At 550 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles northwest of Sheridan Lake, or 5 miles north of Hill City,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Rapid City, Keystone, Hisega, Hayward, Rockerville,
Sheridan Lake, Keystone Wye, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, and Mount
Rushmore National Memorial.
