Ahead of the front, expect very hot temperatures and relative humidity of 20 to 25 percent. Behind the front, temperatures will be cooler and relative humidity will be closer to 30 percent. Additionally, gusty north winds of 15 to 20 mph will be common behind the cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorm are expected across most of the area today and tonight.
