.DISCUSSION...Light snow is expected this morning, but then
decreasing clouds and warmer air will move in for the afternoon. Highs
will be in the 30s to lower 40s. Southerly winds of 5 to 15 mph
will become northwesterly in the afternoon. Minimum relative
humidity will be in the 50 to 70 percent range. These conditions
and light snow cover across many areas will result in a low
Grassland Fire Danger today.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Monday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category to moderate category.
