Afternoon relative humidities will drop to 25 to 30 percent across most of the western South Dakota plains and southwestern South Dakota. Northwestern South Dakota will see afternoon relative humidities ranging from 30 to 40 percent. The gusty northwest winds and low humidity will support high to extreme fire danger, especially across south central South Dakota.
