This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The grassland fire danger will be high to locally very high on the
far western South Dakota plains this afternoon.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight over southwest into
south-central South Dakota, but severe thunderstorms are not
expected.

Southeast winds will gust to 35-45 mph over northwestern South
Dakota this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

The grassland fire danger Saturday afternoon will be high to
locally very high from southwest into south-central South Dakota.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible over south-central South
Dakota Saturday evening, but severe thunderstorm are not expected.

Southeast winds will gust to 35-45 mph from northwest into south-
central South Dakota Saturday afternoon.

Behind a cold front Sunday, northwest winds may gust above 50 mph
over northwestern South Dakota.
