This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty northwest winds are expected today with the strongest winds
of 45 to 50 mph over northwestern South Dakota.

Elevated fire danger is expected today. The grassland fire danger
for this afternoon will be high to very high on the western South
Dakota plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Elevated fire danger is expected Friday and Saturday. The
grassland fire danger for Friday afternoon will be high to very
high, except moderate from Sturgis to Faith.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today.
