.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will move slowly through the area today. Ahead of the
front across southwestern and south central South Dakota, it will be
hot with elevated fire weather conditions. Behind the front, it will
be a little cooler, with gusty north winds of 15 to 20 mph.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected through Friday
evening. The Black Hills, northeastern Wyoming and southwestern
South Dakota have the highest probability to receive a wetting rain.
Cooler and drier conditions are expected this weekend and most of
next week.
