.DISCUSSION...A cold front continues to slowly sag southward across
the area with colder temperatures filtering into NW SD into central
SD. Gusty north-northwesterly winds will persist through the afternoon
today, strongest across western SD behind the front. Mild and dry
weather expected Friday and Saturday where temperatures will push
into the 40s and 50s, with some 60s across the eastern foothills.
Spotty elevated fire weather conditions can be expected Friday
with dry westerly winds and daytime minimum RH around 30-35%. More
widespread elevated fire weather conditions expected Saturday as
temperatures warm into the 50s to near 60 coupled with RH in the
20s and dry southwesterly winds.
