The Tucson, AZ National Weather Service office will be undergoing a
computer upgrade of their systems that require some regular products
and services to be unavailable between Monday, April, 21 and
Wednesday, April, 23. This includes suspended service of the NOAA
Weather Radio transmitters including Tucson (WXL30), Safford

Temperature and Precipitation (RTP). These products and services
will become unavailable the morning of Monday, April, 21 and resume

The forecast office will continue regular operations during this
time with all other normally scheduled products and services
continuing uninterrupted.

We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary suspension of
these products and services may cause.

We encourage users in the area to have multiple ways to receive
warnings and to ensure they have Wireless Emergency Alerts turned on
on their phones.
