.DISCUSSION...
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect today for zones 151, 152, 153
and 154. Winds turn from south to southwest late this morning and
increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Near critical
fire weather conditions expected in zones to the west with
somewhat lower winds and modestly higher minimum relative
humidities. Cooler temperatures and moisture move in from the west
Friday across most of southeastern Arizona. However, periods of critical
fire weather conditions possible across the eastern half of
Cochise County Friday afternoon. Cooler temperatures areawide
Friday and Saturday, with a slight chance of light precipitation
across the eastern half of the forecast area Friday night and
Saturday and greater chances to the north through the White
Mountains. A warming trend then starts Sunday and continues into
early next week, as high temperatures warm to above normal levels.
