Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Tulsa OK
317 AM CDT Thu Mar 27 2025

...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
WEST OF HIGHWAY 75 AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44...

Grassland fire spread rates will be enhanced to near critical
today across parts of northeast Oklahoma west of Highway 75 and
north of Interstate 44.

South to southwest winds from 15 to 20 mph with gusts in the 30 to
35 mph range are expected this afternoon. Afternoon relative
humidity values will fall into the 30 to 35 percent range as
temperatures warm into the mid 80s. These conditions will combine
with critically dry wildland fuels to present an elevated fire
danger.

Avoid outdoor activities that could inadvertently start a fire,
including disposing of cigarettes properly. Report any wildfires
to local officials.
