...ELEVATED TO NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY IN
PARTS OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA...

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon
across parts of northeast Oklahoma, generally to the north and
west of Tulsa. Southwest 20-foot winds gusting from to 25 mph are
expected this afternoon, with minimum relative humidities 20 to 25
percent.

Fine fuels are becoming increasingly drought-stressed and are
becoming more susceptible to rapid fire spread.

Avoid outdoor activities that could inadvertently start a fire,
including disposing of cigarettes properly. Report any wildfires
to local officials.
