This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
    AREA...North of I-40.
    ONSET...Overnight Tonight.

DISCUSSION...
There is a very slight chance of an isolated storm in northeast OK
this afternoon (10%). A better 20-50% chance of showers and
thunderstorms will spread across areas near and north of I-40 late
tonight into Monday morning. Some of the storms could produce
locally heavy rain but severe storms are not expected.
Temperatures will remain warm today, generally near to a bit
below normal.

MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
TUESDAY TO WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY TO SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through
the area Monday and Tuesday. Storms will initially focus to the
north, but will gradually become confined to southeast OK later
Tuesday. Some of the storms will produce heavy rainfall, with
localized totals of a few inches possible. A brief mostly dry
window is expected later Tuesday and most of Wednesday.

Storm activity will redevelop Thursday, continuing at times into
Saturday and possibly beyond. Periods of heavy rainfall are again
expected, with some areas potentially seeing several inches of
rainfall. Depending on the details of the storm activity,
flooding may become a concern.
