EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid weather returns for the second half of the week
through the weekend, with triple digit afternoon heat index values
becoming common. All necessary heat precautions should be taken
each afternoon through the forecast period. Low thunderstorm
chances will exist for parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest
Arkansas late this weekend into early next week with a disturbance
looking to move across the region.
