AREA...Most of Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...This afternoon.

AREA AT GREATEST RISK...Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Widespread dangerously hot and humid conditions will occur again
this afternoon across much of region. All heat precautions should
be taken, especially if spending a prolonged period outdoors. A
few isolated thunderstorms may develop through the daytime.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat

FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Dangerous heat and humidity will persist through most of the work
week. Small shower and thunderstorm chances will begin to
increase on Wednesday, with best chances occurring Thursday night
through Friday night as a cold front pushes through the area.
Cooler temperatures and slight precipitation chances will linger
into the upcoming weekend.
