EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop along an advancing cold

storms could move into far northeast Oklahoma close to the Kansas
and Missouri borders Wednesday evening, and will pose a limited
severe wind and hail threat. These storms are expected to
dissipate by late evening.

A second cold front is forecast into the region Friday and will
eventually stall near the Red River this weekend. This front will
provide the focus for multiple rounds of showers and storms, and
an increasing potential for locally heavy rainfall by early next week.
