.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm temperatures and dry conditions will continue
today with afternoon humidity values in the 30 to 35 percent range
west of U.S. 75. Humidity will bottom out in the 35 to 45 percent
range elsewhere. Twenty foot winds will be out of the southeast at
5 to 10 mph during the afternoon. Low level moisture will begin
to increase on Friday as southerly flow strengthens ahead of an
approaching storm system with afternoon RH values generally above
40 percent. The chance for widespread wetting rains will increase
on Saturday as a frontal boundary crosses the region. Dry air will
move in behind the front and could drop humidity values into the
25 to 35 percent range on Saturday along and west of U.S. 75.
Gusty west to northwest winds are also expected in the post-
frontal airmass.
