...NWS Damage Survey for 06/28/24 Tornado Event ...

A supercell moved across parts of Lyon and Osage Counties on the
evening of June 28. This storm produced three brief tornadoes, as
well as a larger area of scattered 70-85 mph straight-line winds.

Survey Summary:
Another brief tornado, likely embedded in an area of just as
strong RFD winds, affected the southern short of Melvern Lake.
Multiple trees were blown down or damaged, one RV was rolled over, and
damage occurred to the marina.
