This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, north central Kansas, and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot and humid today again for areas over east central into
portions of northeast Kansas ahead of a frontal boundary to the
west. Heat indices rise to around 105 degrees generally along and
southeast of a line from Topeka to Emporia.

A few marginally severe storms may be possible later this
afternoon and evening across the area. Locally heavy rainfall,
small hail and damaging wind will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A flood watch has been issued for areas generally along and east
of a line from Marysville to Manhattan from early Sunday morning
through Monday morning. Heavy rainfall may set up across the area
especially into the Sunday night and early Monday morning which
could bring 2 to 3 inches of quick rainfall to the area. This may
increase the risk for areal flooding and some localized flash
flooding in areas that are quick to respond to heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters should not be needed today or tonight.
