.DISCUSSION...

Surface high pressure will move across the area today, keeping winds
on the lighter side, mainly between 10 and 15 mph out of the north
into the afternoon. Winds will eventually shift to the northeast this
evening while also subsiding to around 5 mph. Minimum relative humidity
will drop to between 25 and 30 percent this afternoon and smoke
dispersal should be good with boundary layer mixing to around 6 kft
expected. Stronger southerly winds return Saturday.
