.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are low for today.
Winds behind the morning rain are expected to be light and
variable for the most part while minimum RH values remain
above 40 percent. So fire weather concerns are low. Mixing
heights are expected to range from 2 to 4 KFT but the light
winds may limit smoke dispersal to the fair and good
category.
Warm and humid conditions are forecast to stick with us
through the end of the week. Some redevelopment of storms
is possible this afternoon across east central KS. Then
dry conditions are expected for Wednesday before rain
chances return Thursday and through the weekend. The better
chances look to be on Friday and Friday night.
