.DISCUSSION...
Green fuels will keep fire weather concerns low today.
Not a lot of change in the pattern expected for today
with southerly winds persisting in the 5 to 15 mph
range. Minimum RH values are forecast to be at or
above 40 percent. So red flag conditions are not
expected. Mixing heights between 5 and 7 KFT should
provide excellent conditions for smoke dispersal.
Chances for showers and storms are forecast to increase
tonight and into Tuesday as a weak frontal boundary
moves into the area. This boundary is forecast to be
south of the area by Wednesday with a east and northeast
surface wind. The next chance for precipitation is
forecast for the weekend.
