...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and
  northeast Kansas, including the following counties, in central
  Kansas, Dickinson. In east central Kansas, Anderson, Coffey,
  Franklin, Geary, Lyon, Morris, Osage, Shawnee and Wabaunsee. In
  north central Kansas, Clay, Cloud and Ottawa. In northeast Kansas,
  Pottawatomie and Riley.

* WHEN...From this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
