The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Liberty County in north central Montana...
  Western Hill County in north central Montana...
  Northern Chouteau County in north central Montana...

* Until 145 AM MDT.

* At 1225 AM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 11 miles northwest of Joplin to 11 miles north of
  Inverness to Gildford, moving north at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated, with surface observations of 55 mph 11
           miles south of Rudyard.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Joplin, Inverness, Gildford, Hingham, Rudyard, Simpson, and
  Kremlin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. Winds may arrive before rain does, and winds may linger
for an extended period of time after the rain ends as well.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
