.DISCUSSION...

Considerable high cloud-cover will continue to stream across the
region today but dry conditions prevail with temperatures several
degrees warmer than yesterday. General winds will be from the
south, becoming more southwesterly and breezy this afternoon, then
diminishing and turning to the south and southeast tonight. On
Thursday, a Pacific weather system moves into the region with a
cold front crossing the area in the afternoon. The risk for rain
showers increases through the day Thursday with a period of rain
moving through with the cold frontal passage.
