.DISCUSSION...

Moist, northwest flow aloft will help to maintain the opportunity
for isolated showers and thunderstorms along the Continental
Divide through the afternoon hours today. Upper level ridging
over the Pacific Northwest then begins to build east towards the
Northern Rockies through the first half of the work week, but
overall northwest flow aloft will prevail. High temperatures will
continue to moderate through the first half of the work week as
the aforementioned ridge builds east, with periods of breezy west
winds near ridgetops and decreasing moisture recovery during the
overnight hours.
