.DISCUSSION...
Breezy and gusty west to northwest winds will continue across Fire
Weather Zones 113 and 115 through the afternoon hours today as the
upper level disturbance responsible for yesterday`s winds slowly
pulls away. Temperatures today in wake of a cold front will be
below normal, but climb back above normal by Tuesday as breezy and
gusty downsloping winds return to the plains of Central and North
Central Montana. These breezy and gusty winds combined with
minimum relative humidity values in the teens will lead to
elevated fire weather concerns for the day on Tuesday, most
notably within the grasslands of 112, 114, and 117. Dry conditions
and near to slightly above normal persist through the remainder of
the work week as zonal flow becomes fixed over the Northern
