907 FNUS55 KTFX 302057 FWFTFX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana National Weather Service Great Falls MT 257 PM MDT Mon Jun 30 2025 .DISCUSSION... Warm and dry conditions will intensify through midweek as upper level ridging builds across the area through Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will be a low threat on Tuesday across the higher terrain of Central Montana, but will become more widespread on Wednesday as cooler air begins to work into the area. Any shower or thunderstorm tomorrow and Wednesday may produce gusty and erratic winds. Showers and thunderstorms will be a concern through the remainder of the week as well, but cooling temperatures should reduce the risk of strong wind gusts from decaying thunderstorms.
