Showers and thunderstorms will move from south to north, mostly this afternoon through early Tuesday. The primary thunderstorm hazards will be localized strong gusty winds, hail, and heavy downpours in addition to cloud to ground lightning. Drier conditions are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, but there may be some lingering isolated showers or storms on Tuesday and westerly winds will gust in the 15 to 30 mph range each afternoon. Another Pacific trough will bring more scattered showers and storms, breezy to windy conditions, and cooler temperatures for the second half of the work week.
